Meet the Team

Gabrielle Tanne - Director/ Lead Teacher

Gabrielle is the owner, director, and lead teacher of Sequoia preschool.  After completing her Master's program at Columbia University in New York, Gabrielle travelled around the globe for three years teaching and exploring our diverse planet and its people. She has enjoyed 20+ years of working with early learners in both social work and education settings.  Before starting her own family she was the Director and Lead Teacher of Arlington Preschool and the Head Start Lead Teacher at the well renowned Denise Louie Education Center in Seattle.   Gabrielle is very excited to bring a quality preschool facility to the community of Stanwood and share her love for creative learning with a fusion of teaching styles that has lead to successful and happy children.

Meghan Manger - Co-Teacher

Meghan Manger is an amazing and experienced teacher with 15+ years experience working with early learners.  She has an uncanny knack to connect with children and families in a genuine and heartfelt way.  Meghan's understanding of child development and keen observation of children's strengths and weaknesses allows her to tailor her teaching method to best instruct and nurture each child on an individual basis.

Michele Tanne - Co-Teacher

Michele joins us part-time as our experienced mentor with 30+ years of teaching experience.  She earned her state teaching certificate from WWU and continued on to complete a Masters of Education from Antioch University.  Michele began her career with more than a decade of preschool and kindergarten educating at "Creative Montessori" in Bothell.  Her passion for hands-on learning and diversity lead her to continue her career at Tulalip and Quil Ceda Elementaries as a valued primary school Montessori educator, teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade for the last two decades.

Ana Rodriguez

Ana Rodriguez is the newest member of the Sequoia Preschool Family.  Ana received a Bachelor's Degree from Washington State University in Human Development and has earned her Certificate in Early Childhood Education.  She comes from a very large family where she learned the importance of teamwork, patience, and compassion.  We’re also pleased to announce that Ana is bilingual!  We look forward to her fluency in Spanish providing a well-rounded linguistic experience as well as teaching cultural awareness to our early learners.
